b{2}b

You know those days....those days that you have great hair?! Where every strand falls perfectly into place, has just the right amount of volume and the color shimmers beautifully in the sun?! Well I hadn't had one of those days for months. I {almost} forgot what one of those days felt like! It had been 4 months {gasp!} since I last had my hair done and it was wayyyy past the point of starting to show! Any girl in my position would have been at the point of taking drastic measures. And drastic times DO call for drastic measures. After gazing back at pictures from {good hair} days of past, I decided it was time for a change. Not to mention that I've been at the point of {another} major life change {moving}, a new hair-do
was bound to happen! {Random side note...} Isn't that the way it always happens? Life change=hair change. I think so. There's got to be some kind of psychological explanation behind it. But until I find one, I'll just finish my story. It was time for a drastic change so I made an appointment with my {freakishly amazing} hair girl {who I love so much}, not yet knowing the amount drasticity {is that even a word?!} that I was going to take. I showed up, cool, calm and collected and told her to do whatever she wanted. People, that is a BIG deal for me! I am not a risk-taker when it comes to my hair! But lucky for me, I have a hair girl I can trust enough to tell that and know my hair won't come out spiked and purple. Caution: If you do not have a {freakishly amazing} hair girl, those words should never be uttered from your lips...unless you don't care about the tears that come after the end result. But back to the point at hand. My new hair {that's not purple}. Brandi {the freakishly amazing hair girl} blindfolded me {not really}, mixed up some color, cut off quite a few inches {five or six inches to be exact} and blow dried to my liking. The result? I'm back to blonde {b2b} and have hair right above my shoulders! My {natural} curly hair has cooperated quite nicely with the new do! I really was so nervous I was going to look like a chia pet when I did it curly! Haha! Husband has been quite pleased with the results as well...which makes it an all-around win! :) I think my next major move will be a cute rhinestone stud nose ring! I'll post pics soonnnn! :)

But that brings me to a question for you {yes, YOU!}! Have you ever changed your hair after a major life change?? Or is this psychological theory all in my head?!

I totally love the hair! I do think that hair changes come after life changes. After I got married I chopped my long locks off to my chin! It was drastic, but cute. :) Oh and I think you need a super cute diamond stud nose ring ASAP!! You would look darling with it!

So about that nose ring idea, I've been wanting one but everyone keeps telling me it's a tacky idea...

Haha well I'm glad I'm not the only one who changes my hair with my ever-changing emotions! {My poor husband!}

Mijken...you're so sweet! You leave the most encouraging notes and I absolutely love it! You're my blog-blessing! :)

Janis & Linz...I think you convinced me, a nose ring should be on its way to my face!

Amy...my family keeps trying to tell me the same thing about a nose ring! But I think they're so cute! I could totally see you with a cute little diamond sparkle on your face! Let's go get one together!! :)

And pics of the hair will be up soon! We're just trying to get through the whole moving process.
